University Place sits on the Puget Sound side of Pierce County, a residential city where mornings start early and the marine layer often hangs low until mid-morning. Many people here commute toward Tacoma or farther north to Seattle and Bellevue, so days tend to begin before the school buses do.

Between the commute, the school run and weekend errands, a cold drink is usually close at hand. Lotus is sold at grocery stores in town, which makes it easy to add a few cans to the usual shopping trip and keep some in the fridge at home.

Lotus is a plant-based energy drink made with natural caffeine and PP7, a plant-based blend made with organic ingredients. It comes two ways: ready-to-drink cans you can grab cold, and concentrates that coffee shops mix into energy refreshers, energy teas, lemonades and creamy Lotus Cream drinks.

Looking for a sugar-free energy drink? Lotus Zero Sugar comes in cans and concentrate, and Light cans have zero net carbs and 10 calories. Nowhere close? Order online for delivery to University Place, from 12-packs of cans to half-gallon concentrates.
